Who we are

Minimalist is operated by Graybridge Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Company number: 16536299. Registered office: 21 Dwyer House, 2 Townmead Rd, London SW6 2NZ, UK. These terms apply to Minimalist Mac apps, themes, and related digital products unless a product page says otherwise. Questions? Email hello@getminimalist.co.

What you're buying

When you purchase a Minimalist Mac app, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use that software on up to 3 Macs. The license is perpetual, which means it does not expire. Minimalist apps are downloadable desktop software, not a hosted service or subscription.

The Founding Set

The Founding Set is a limited early-supporter bundle. It includes every current and future Minimalist Mac app we release, the starter colour theme collection, and the founders-exclusive Ink theme. It does not include future limited edition theme drops unless we explicitly say so on the product page.

Themes

Every Minimalist Mac app includes the classic themes that ship with the app. Optional themes are digital add-ons. A purchased theme unlocks that theme across the Minimalist Mac apps you own, where that theme is supported.

Ownership

You own your data. We own the software. Your purchase grants a license to use the app, not ownership of the code. You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the application.

Updates

All updates within a major version are included at no extra cost. If we release a new major version (e.g. Tally 2.0), it may be offered as a separate purchase with a discount for existing users. Your current version continues to work regardless.

Refunds

If the app doesn't work on your Mac or you're unhappy with it, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked. Email hello@getminimalist.co. This policy is in addition to any statutory consumer rights you may have.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit rights you have under consumer law. If mandatory law in your country gives you additional rights, those rights still apply.

Reliability and liability

We do our best to make Minimalist apps reliable, but software can contain bugs and may not work perfectly in every environment. You are responsible for checking important information and keeping backups of your own data. We are not responsible for business losses, lost profits, missed payments, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Your data

All app data is stored locally on your Mac. We have no access to it. You are responsible for backing up your own data. If you delete an app or its local database, your app data may be deleted too.

License keys

Each app purchase includes a license key valid for up to 3 Mac activations, unless the product page says otherwise. Sharing your key with others is not permitted. We reserve the right to deactivate keys that are being misused, resold, shared publicly, or used outside the license terms.

Activation and internet access

Minimalist apps are designed to work offline after activation. Internet access may be needed for license activation, optional update checks, theme catalog refreshes, and support.

Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as merchant of record for checkout, payment processing, taxes, invoices, refunds, and chargebacks. Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms and privacy policy apply to the payment process. Graybridge Labs Ltd remains the supplier and licensor of the Minimalist software.

Acceptable use

You may not copy, modify, resell, redistribute, rent, sublicense, or attempt to bypass licensing or security features in the software. You may not use Minimalist products in a way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll note the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.
